Installation artist working with and kinetic sculpture, sound and drawing.
Completed a Bachelor of Arts at Tama Art University in 2004.
Completed Masters at Tokyo National University of Art and Music in 2006.
Yuko Mohri was in a punk band before she chose to look at 'slowness' as an alternative to loud, fast, public performances. For PICA, she has created an intimate slow moving environment comprising reams of paper, mechanically operated blinds and strange new instruments activated by sensors to get lost within.
