Celebrate the launch of a new publication detailing the work of Western Australian artist Alex Spremberg. Accompanying his solo show Wrong Angles in PICA's Westend Gallery, this 64-page publication recognises Spremberg's significant contribution to painting over his 40 year career, contains an essay by PICA Curator Leigh Robb and an interview with Spremberg and local artist Anthony Kelly.
The evening will also feature a live performance of Ever Higher at 6:30pm. This popular new work by Tarryn Gill & Pilar Mata Dupont is a dramatic physical intervention in PICA's Central Gallery with a single female rope-aerialist and local cheerleaders, the Perth Angels. Don't miss the chance to see this work live in an evening that celebrates WA's rich talent!
