Sarah Elson was born in 1971 and completed her Bachelor of Visual Arts with first class honours and her Graduate Dipoloma of Education with the Curtin University of Technology, WA. Sarah has participated in numerous exhibitions including Anigozanthos (eudaimonia hybrid), Galerie Dusseldorf, Mosman Park, WA (2007); Sculpture by the Sea, Cottesloe (2006); Home Ground, Form, Perth, WA (2005); (shelf) (life) Perth International Arts Festival, Galerie Dusseldorf, Mosman Park, WA (2005); push, Moores Building, Fremantle (2004); Accomodation2, Brunstfield YHA, Edinburgh, Scotland (2003); Metal Element 6, Quadrivium, Sydney (2003); Into the Blue Monash University Museum of Art, Melbourne (2002); Parallel Worlds, Perth International Arts Festival, IASKA - International Arts Space, Kellerberin, Australia (2002); and Necromancy, Galerie Dusseldorf, Mosman Park, WA (2001). She has received a number of awards, including receiving the Samstag International Visual Arts Scholarship in 2001. She current works as a tutor at the Curtin University of Technolgy. She is represented in the John Curtin Gallery Art Collection and numerous private collections.
