Matt Hunt lives and works in Perth and graduated form Curtin University of Technology in 2005. He has had work exhibited in institutions locally and nationally and was recently shown in the highly regarded Making it new: Focus on Contemporary Australia Art 2009 at the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA), Sydney. Works of his are held in numerous collections including the Art Gallery of WA, Kerry Stokes Collection, Curtin University of Technology Collection and The City of Perth Collection.
