Roderick Sprigg lives and works in Mukinbudin and gained a Bachelor of Arts (Visual Art) from Curtin University in 2006. His practice often relates to the psychological and physical drives of Man with the use of performance, video, 2-dimentional and sculptural mediums. Sprigg has exhibited widely in solo and group exhibitions throughout Australian and overseas. Recent solo shows include the galleries Ceci n'est pas une Usine, France (2006), Fremantle Arts Centre (2008) and Craft Victoria, Melbourne (2008). He recently completed a residency in Jakarta with IASKA and was part of Primavera 09 at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, a show renowned for uncovering new talent across the country.
