From a background in painting, Gregory Pryor's practice has evolved into many different areas, which include drawing, video, performance and object based work. After many years travelling to and making work about his experiences in Europe and Asia, he moved from Melbourne to Perth in 2003 and began to explore the visual language of the country he was born in. Gregory Pryor has work held in collections at National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery of Victoria, Queensland Art Gallery, RMIT University, The Smorgon Collection, Australian Embassy Beijing, and Naturhistorisches Museum, Vienna.
