Elise/Jürgen, (Elise Harmsen & Jürgen Kerkovius) are emerging collaborative artists based in Perth and were included in the 2010 Perth International Arts Festival. Prior to this they were selected to participate in the Hatched 08: National Graduate Show, an exhibition showcasing the top art school graduates of that year. Elise/Jürgen have work held in the John Curtin Gallery Collection and were recently featured in an article entitled Cool Hunter Predictions in the Australian Art Collector's 50 Things Collectors Need To Know issue in March 2009. Their work considers the relationships formed between vision, experience, connection and separation through the mediums of video, performance and projection.
