A solitary bath, one peroxide wig, the music of Doris Day and a curious form of synchronised swimming. AirSwimming by exciting award winning British playwright Charlotte Jones is based on a true story, exploring the remarkable 50 year friendship of two women. Denied freedom, Dora and Persephone find that the world of their imagination allows them to be whoever and wherever they wish. AirSwimming is a play with humour, compassion, rich imagery and belief in human potential, which will delight, move and entertain. 'admirably clear and unsentimental, effortlessly gliding from the desperately funny to the desperately sad.'
