Abdullah, Ayres & Beard

4 November 2011 - 8 April 2012

The Greater Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere
Studio One
Residency: 23 January - 8 April, 2012.

The Greater Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere is a collaborative project between Perth-based artists Abdul Abdullah, Casey Ayres and Nathan Beard. The project is tied directly to each artist's experience of being raised in Australia with the influence of an Asian parent. During the residency, the artists will be further researching and querying the model of an embassy space in order to fully explore, interrogate and critique notions of identity and cultural sensitivity in a globalised age.
