Following the visual arts studio residencies that took place at PICA from December '99 until the end of February, 2000, PICA is delighted to be supporting artists working in live art and contemporary performance areas through three short studio residencies.

PVI COLLECTIVE
Live Art Project
The PVI Collective will be resident at PICA for six weeks during which time they will be developing a sound based live art project called Project Blue. The performance will be a development from the new media performance, Flying from an offbeat wig tilt: red, yellow, blue, presented at PICA during November 1999.
JONATHAN SINATRA
Dancer and physical theatre practitioner
Jonathon Sinatra : an independent dance artist exploring performance intimacy and identity. Temperament, Identity & Humour...work in progress...painting a portraiture of the characteristics physiological and emotional states of an individual which tends to condition her/his responses to various situations of life.
STRANGE ARRANGEMENTS
Physical theatre company
Nigel Luck and Janet Lee began Strange Arrangements in 1996. Since their first show at Dancehouse in Melbourne, they have been negotiating the foggy landscape between dance and theatre. In 1998 they made two new shows; Cadence and Vertical Hold. During their residency at PICA they will continue their physical praxis, examine possibilities for a new work and negotiate some new vectors for fog navigation.
