Exhibitions - Apply
The Perth Institute of Contemporary Arts (PICA) offers an exhibition program comprised of solo and group exhibitions featuring local, national and international artists initiated by PICA's curator, festival projects, our annual Hatched National Graduate Show, touring exhibitions and a project selected through a competitive proposal process which is open to Australian and international curators and artists.
Proposals may be submitted to PICA at any time during the year.
Exhibition guidelines
PICA is a leading contemporary art institution and unique exhibition space. PICA's exhibitions take place in the Central Galleries on the ground floor, and the Westend Gallery and the Screen Space, both on the second floor. Exhibition periods are approximately 8 weeks in duration. PICA's galleries vary dramatically in terms of available wall and floor space, natural light and atmosphere. It is crucial that interested curators and artists review our floor plans and current programming for an insight into PICA's physical scale and programming objectives and carefully assess the suitability and feasibility of their project prior to submission.
